How much does your service cost?
We price by the item. Please see our Online Price Calculator for our current price list.
What is your minimum order?
Our minimum order for collection and delivery is £10.00. If you want to deliver your ironing to and collect your ironing from our premises the minimum order is £5.00.
Is there anything that you don't iron?
We have not yet come across anything that we can't iron! If you would like us to iron anything that is not listed on our Online Price Calculator, please Contact Us for a quote

Can I deliver to/collect from Pressed For Time's premises?
Yes, please Contact Us to arrange this
I require my ironing to be done on a regular basis. Can you help with this?

What if I only need a one-off service?
That's fine, we can cater for one-off or regular customers.
How long does the ironing take?
We usually return items to customers within 24-48 hours. We are able to offer a same-day service if required, depending on our availability.
I work during the day, can you collect and deliver in the evening?
Yes, we open from 8am to 8pm.
Can you collect or deliver over the weekend?
Yes, we open 7 days a week.
How do I arrange a collection?

How do I send my items to you?
It is helpful if you can put your items in a bag or a box rather than hand them to us loosely in case we are unable to park directly outside your premises. If you have any special requests for certain items please group these together with your instructions.
Do you provide hangers?
No, we ask that you provide your own hangers for any items that you would like hung. All other items will be returned folded.
What happens if you damage one of my items?
This should never happen as we take as much care with every item as if it were our own. However, accidents sometimes happen and if we were to damage one of your items, we would compensate you for the current value of the item up to a maximum amount of £50.00.
How will my ironing be returned?
We will hang any items that you provide hangers for and fold the rest. All ironing will be protected by plastic garment covers.
Do I need to return the plastic garment covers that you provide?
It would be helpful if you could. Not only will it help the environment but it helps us to keep our costs down. Any savings we make we pass onto our customers by keeping our prices low.
Are your premises and vehicles all smoke and pet-free?
Yes, absolutely.
What happens if I am not in when my ironing is collected or delivered?
If we have arranged a collection or delivery time with you and we arrive to find that no one is available, we will charge a fee of £5.00 for making the journey a second time.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We only accept cash for amounts under £50.00. For amounts over £50.00 we prefer cash but can accept cheques
Can you keep my ironing while I am away on holiday?
No, we do not have enough room to store customers' items. Please do not book a collection if you will not be able to accept delivery before you go away.
