Hints and Tips
To get the best out of our service there are a few things that you can do to help us. By following our Hints and Tips guide, not only will you help to save us time (which means that we can return your ironing to you sooner), you will help us to achieve the best finish possible for your items.
- Please ensure that all of your garments are the correct way out (i.e. not inside out) and that shirts, etc. are unbuttoned before reaching us.
- Remember: the way you dry and store your garments will have a huge effect on the quality of ironing that we are able to achieve. Tumble dried items or items left screwed up in a ball will be much harder to iron to a high standard than items that are hung soon after washing and stored appropriately.
- We will iron anything that is provided with your load. If you do not wish to be charged for stray socks or underwear, please check your ironing before we collect it to ensure that the only items present are ones you would like ironed.
- If you require your items to be hung, please ensure that you provide the correct number of adequately-sized clothes hangers for the number of items. We can double-up the number of shirts, tops or trousers on hangers if you do not have enough available. Please do not provide broken hangers as we cannot replace these.
- We do not often carry a lot of change when delivering your items back to you so the correct money is always appreciated. If you are unsure of the cost of your load, please use our Online Price Calculator or contact us before your delivery time to confirm this.
- Reusing your plastic garment covers not only helps the environment but it also helps us to save money. In turn, we are then able to pass our savings onto you, our customers, by keeping our prices low.
- If you move house or change any of your contact details such as your telephone number or email address, please contact us to let us know!
